The poppy is a durable and persevering flower which grew in its thousands among desolate and barren battlegrounds. Its natural associations with endurance, determination and rebirth saw it adopted as a symbol of remembrance for those who lost their lives in the First World War. Lt John McCrae's 1915 poem, In Flanders Fields, helped secure the poppy's image as a hallmark of sacrifice and remembrance;

These two fantastic charities have been supporting the armed forces for over 100 years, veterans, current serving personnel and their families.
SSAFA helps the armed forces community in a number of ways, their focus is on providing direct support to individuals and their families in need of physical or emotional care. They are all entitled to lifelong support from SSAFA, no matter how long they have served.
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. They’ve helped former servicemen and women with mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Collect in store
- Collections can be made from the shop at Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds during opening hours.
- You will be notified via email once your order is ready for collection.
- Once you receive this notification, we will hold your order for 7 days.
- Please bring your order confirmation and ID that matches the name on the order.
- Limited short stay, road-side parking is available on Clarence Road or Citipark operate the nearby Leeds Dock multi-storey car park. Please note that parking charges may apply.
International Shipping
All international orders will be sent by courier. The estimated delivery time for European deliveries is 7-10 working days and 10-14 working days for rest of the world, however this is not guaranteed.
