Restrictions
Age
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 17. We will not allow entry to children under 5 years old.
Due to the nature of the attraction, RA/ID is not recommended to children under 8 years old. Entry is at the discretion of a parent or guardian. Many children will enjoy the experience, but please be aware it does get very dark inside the room and it contains elements of mild threat and violence.
If at any time you need to leave the room, simply speak to the Gatekeeper and they will arrange for you to escape as soon as possible. Please be aware tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Accessibility
The purpose of this experience is to work together to find and solve puzzles around the museum. This sometimes means that different team members will need to do different things. We have put considerable effort into making this experience as fun and accessible as possible to all Royal Armouries visitors.
In order to complete the experience as it was intended, you will need at least one person in your party who is able to walk upstairs, has reasonable sight with or without glasses, and hearing (this doesn’t all have to be the same person – it’s a team effort!).
If you have any specific queries regarding accessibility, please do contact the museum by email or phone. We will do all we can to ensure you can get the most out of the experience, such as large printed text and alterations to the journey to suit your needs. We also invite carers to arrange a walkthrough prior to booking to ensure it’s suitable.
Schools
There is currently no option for school bookings to the experience though if you have something specific in mind please do contact us.
