Victorian Bear - Fort Nelson

Introducing Albert, the Fort Nelson Victorian Bear mascot. Albert's uniform is inspired by the 2nd Hampshire Volunteer Artillery, formed in the late 1800s to "man the forts'.

Our cuddly mascot dressed in his smart uniform has inspired a whole range of gifts and homewares, from keyrings and magnets to mugs and tea towels from Hole In My Pocket.

Fort Nelson in Portsmouth is a Victorian fortress and the home of Royal Armouries collection of artillery from around the world.
