Sting sword replica letter opener

£39.99

Only 1 piece in stock!

From the Hobbit trilogy comes this Sting letter opener.

An Elvish dagger discovered in a troll hoard in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Sting was given to Bilbo Baggins by Gandalf.

Like its mates Orcrist and Glamdring, Sting shone with a blue light to alert the wielder of the presence of nearby orcs; but unlike any other weapon, it also held the unique quality of being feared by the Spiders of Mirkwood.

This miniature version of Bilbo Baggins' sword is a beautifully formed replica with rich and accurate detailing.

Made from stainless steel, the letter opener has brown enamelling on its petite hilt replicating the colouring of the original weapon perfectly.

A fantastic reproduction of the original film prop with its delicate vine patterned hilt and rune engraved blade, this exquisite collector's item would make the perfect gift for any Hobbit enthusiast or film fan.

Measuring 20cm in length, the paper knife is presented beautifully in a wooded box with acrylic display window and gold lettering, making it a beautiful show piece as well as being a great functional tool.
