Originally made for Star Wars: A New Hope, Shepperton Design Studios have created this fully wearable replica of the Dark Lord. As you would expect, it is built to the exacting standards of quality and accuracy of the original helmet used in the film.
Hand made from composite materials and weighing only 1.6kg (3.5lbs).

A stunning 1:1 replica helmet of the Dark Lord. The helmet is fully wearable and superbly detailed.
These replicas that are the truest representation of the of the on-screen characters produced for the original movie. Extreme lengths are taken to ensure the details are accurate, consequently this helmet is hand made by Andrew Ainsworth and his team at Shepperton Design Studio.
While objects in our collection are usually the source of inspiration for developing arms and armour or replicas and props, the Dark Lord Helmet heavily influenced the black fibreglass helmet worn by the Fedayeen Saddam (men of sacrifice), founded by Saddam Hussain’s son Uday Hussain in 1995 who was a fan of the Star Wars films.

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is someone available at the delivery address to accept the parcel. Any parcels that are undelivered, due to nobody being available at the delivery address or incorrect address being provided, or subsequently uncollected from pick-up location, will be returned to sender. We will automatically issue a refund for all products once they have been received back at the museum, however, the cost paid for shipping is non-refundable.
Age verification
All sales of replica blades, replica firearms and alcohol require age verification, therefore, these can only be sent with the Parcelforce Age Check service (24 or 48).
Collect in store
If you choose to collect in store, we will send you a notification once your order is ready to collect. Collections can be made from the shop at Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds during opening hours. You will be required to show your order confirmation email and a form of ID for the name on the order. Limited short stay, road-side parking is available on Clarence Road or Citipark operate the nearby Leeds Dock multi-storey car park. Please note that parking charges may apply.
International shipping outside the UK
All international orders will be sent by courier. The estimated delivery time for European deliveries is 7-10 working days*** and 10-14 working days*** for rest of the world, however this is not guaranteed.
