Sting collector's edition sword — The Hobbit prop replica
Found in the troll's hoard during The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey along with Orcrist and Glamdring, Sting was handed to Bilbo Baggins by Gandalf the Grey.
Forged by elves in the First Age, Sting glows blue whenever orcs or goblins are nearby.
(Albeit an highly accurate reproduction the Sting Collector Edition Sword does not have the ability to glow blue.)
Sting™ was passed down from Bilbo to Frodo in the first movie of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Fellowship of the Ring.
Although Sting could not be classed as anything more than a short sword by human or elfish standards, (and termed as nothing more than a knife by some), at 22 inches long it is the perfect sized weapon for a hobbit.
This elegantly crafted sword, with flowing vine pattern engraved on the stainless steel blade and intricate hand enameled hilt, makes a fantastic decoration when hung on the wall.
The Sting Collector Edition Sword comes with a diecast metal wall display plaque, complete with hanging ring on the back, that enhances the ornamental quality of this The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey prop replica.
