Orcrist replica letter opener

£39.99

Only 2 pieces in stock!

Crafted by the Elves of Gondolin, the Orcrist was carried by Dwarf Lord Thorin Oakenshield after it was discovered alongside Sting and Glamdring in the Troll brothers' cave.

Often referred to as the 'Goblin Cleaver' or 'Biter' by the orcs themselves, Orcrist was not only an infamous and valuable weapon, but a feared one, slayed hundreds of Orcs in its time.

The original Orcrist film prop featured in The Hobbit film series was expertly designed by Weta Senior concept designer Paul Tobin and skilfully crafted by Master Swordsmith Peter Lyon at the Weta Workshop in New Zealand.

You can bring a bit of Middle-Earth into your own home with this Noble Collection film merchandise from The Hobbit. With its carved handle and intricate engraving this outstanding miniature prop replica is both attractive and functional. Although it may be a fraction of the original blades size, the detail and beauty has been brilliantly reproduced.

The letter opener is encased in a wooden presentation box with gold inlay lettering and engraved-effect border decoration making it a perfect gift and a fantastic addition to any Tolkien fans collection.
