World War II started on September, 1939, with the German Invasion of Poland and subsequent declarations of war on Germany by most of the countries in the British Empire and Commonwealth, and by France.

The Germans had organised the seaborne invasion of Britain (Operation Sealion) which depended on the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) having control over the skies. Between the 10 July to 31 October 1940 the Royal Airforce (RAF) defeated the German Luftwaffe in an action referred to as 'The Battle of Britain' and the invasion was cancelled.

With this pack you can create your own World War Two battle using a large background scene and dozens of rub downs.

Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive your order. Any undelivered or uncollected parcels will be returned to sender. We will automatically issue a refund for all products once they have been received back at the museum, however, shipping is non-refundable.

Collect in store

  • Collections can be made from the shop at Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds during opening hours.
  • You will be notified via email once your order is ready for collection.
  • Once you receive this notification, we will hold your order for 30 days.
  • Please bring your order confirmation and ID that matches the name on the order.
  • Limited short stay, road-side parking is available on Clarence Road or Citipark operate the nearby Leeds Dock multi-storey car park. Please note that parking charges may apply.

All items in orders containing a pre-order product will be shipped together when the pre-order product is available for dispatch. Please check the pre-order product page for further updates.
