Kathryn Howard decoration
Dressed head to toe in pink, this handmade decoration is inspired by Kathryn Howard, the fifth wife of king Henry VIII.
Kathryn Howard, young and pretty but married to the much older King Henry VIII, she was accused of adultery and beheaded.(1518/24-1542)
The highly decorative figure is adorned with iridescent glass beads, lace and sparkly gold thread to give a regal appearance.
