Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your gift go further with Gift Aid. Using Gift Aid means that for every £1 you donate to Royal Armouries, we can claim an extra 25p from HM Revenue and customs at no extra cost to you.

If you would like Royal Armouries to reclaim tax on all qualifying donations you must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

Our Charitable Status

Royal Armouries is an exempt charity as listed in the Schedule 3 of the Charities Act 2011 and is recognised as charitable by HM Revenue & Customs and all donations are invested back into the museum, to care for the collection and help to keep it free for future generations to enjoy.
