Lancelot Sword - Deluxe
High quality replica of the sword used by King Arthur’s most loyal knight and closest companion, Sir Lancelot du Lac.
The “Deluxe” range of swords have a much more decorated finish than their plain counterparts. The hilt fittings and grips are painted with bright enamel paint to accentuate the details of the intricate designs.
Sir Lancelot du Lac (of the lake) was one of King Arthur’s greatest knights and his closest companion. He was the greatest swordsman and jouster of his age. He was sent to King Arthur’s court at Camelot by his foster mother, the Lady of the Lake. Whilst there he completed many knightly quests, one of which saw him battling 20 knights to become the Lord of Joyous Gard. He was one of the knights that went on the quest for the Holy Grail – but it was his son Galahad who ultimately seizes this prize.
Knight of the round table, Lord of Joyous Gard and possibly the greatest swordsman of his time; Sir Lancelot was a knight to be reckoned with. Whether you’re a fan of the Lancelot or fancy yourself as a knight of the round table, this sword will make a beautiful statement piece in any home.
